Even among the night elven people there are few who match the compassion that Kyndra feels for the animals of Azeroth. She has taken it upon herself to be the protector of them as best as possible. When confronted for the first time Kyndra will be shy, and tend to stay in the background, in the shadows. But in truth her emotions are what guide her. She has a lively spirit, a wild one. She tries to be as compassionate as possible to everyone she meets, helping wherever she can, which makes her very gullible and fragile. When angered she will not hide it and when fought she will be the fiercest opponent imaginable, using her anger and rage.

Because of this compassion for the animals she revels in her feral forms. She does not try hard to calm the spirit of her feral forms rather using it. Letting it fuel her own emotions. A friendly wild spirited person, who will not admit she is weak in battle.

Heritage

Kyndra was born in Darkshore, from the house of Aerthen. A family of proud sentinels, warriors at heart. Bent on protecting the elven lands from any dangers. Kyndra herself was trained in the art of combat too. Somehow it didn’t feel like that is what she was, but she kept on training non the less. When she went out into the woods she felt really comfortable among the peaceful animals. She considered them all her friends and the animals seemed to like to be around her too. One day she found a group of Grell feasting on a deer. Her anger took her over and she struck the demons down using the wrath of nature itself. Kyndra realized Elune had blessed her and made her to be one of her druids. She did not want to disappoint her parents, so she kept the secret to herself.

Third War

When the scourge invaded Kalimdor, Kyndra’s parents immediately followed the call to arms. Kyndra was eager to join the battle to finally protect the lands she grown to love. But her parents wouldn’t let her, saying she was to young to join and she was left behind in Darkshore. She became furious, she wanted to prove herself so badly, but she did do as her parents told her anyway. Her parents fought bravely alongside the other races against the scourge. They never really trusted them fully though, especially the dwarves and the humans. Kyndra feels something happened there on the battlefield, though they never told her, but after the war they never had any good things to say about the races of the Alliance though. After the war the Aerthen house moved to Teldrassil.

Kyndra’s first friend

One day Kyndra was walking along the shores of Teldrassil when she found a human girl washed up on shore. She was barely alive, careful of her fathers words she thought it was a trap, but after looking at the very fragile human laying there she realized that it was not, and that if she didn’t help her, her life would end soon. Kyndra did her best to nurse her back to health but her inexperience with the healing powers of the druids made it very difficult. After a while she did recover slightly and said that she was called Sorania. Talking for a while she said that she came from a noble family of Menethil. She was kidnapped from her home by a group of pirates, and taken aboard their ship. Later she overheard the pirates saying that her whole family was slaughtered by the same pirates. When she saw the island of Teldrassil she jumped overboard and that is how she ended up here. It was as if Kyndra had heard one of her fathers stories about the humans, yet she saw that this girl was different. She didn’t seem dangerous, just fragile. The two became friends and knowing that her parents would never accept Kyndra having a human friend she hid Sorania in one of the caves of Teldrassil.

Road to Ironforge

After a while Kyndra’s father followed her to Sorania and he caught her casting healing magicks on the human. After the huge inevitable fight they had, Kyndra ran away from home. She thought that maybe the dwarven lands could use the ability of a druid. Kyndra went to Sorania and asked her to join her, but she didn’t want to go back to the lands of humans and dwarves, and stayed in Teldrassil.

Kyndra knew that the road to Ironforge would be most perilous, but she did not despair for she was confident that Elune would keep her safe. When she arrived at the docks she found a beautiful and powerful elven priest, and they started talking. She revealed that her name was Onathi and that she would help young Kyndra get safely to Ironforge. Under the protection of lady Ona she indeed arrived safely at the huge dwarven city.

Even though she knows that she will never be fully accepted among the dwarves and the humans, Kyndra tries her best to protect the animals of Azeroth and summon the wrath of nature upon anyone who threatens them or anyone else she calls friend.
