Nishma is beautiful even by the standards of the Kaldorei. Carrying herself with a dignity and grace that can only be instilled in childhood, she more flows than walks, her long shining white hair only adding to the effect. Her silver eyes carry a gentle kindness that is clear but those who know her well will have seen those same eyes harden with a streak of arrogance.

Forging the Pact
Many ages ago, in a small glen bathed in the liquid silver of moonlight, the heads of three Kaldorei families came together and merged the fates of their houses. Sharing common views and values, the three bound themselves and the generations to come to one noble purpose. On that windless night they forged the Glasstree, a pact that would remain true through the years to come.

With each others' support and backing, the families of the Glasstree grew in power until its members occupied positions of influence throughout Kaldorei politics. Sometimes one family held natural dominance over the others, sometimes all three shared equal strength, but always the bonds of that pact remained steadfast and
strong.

The Burning Legion
Like so many, the families of the Glasstree answered the call to the battlefields of the Third War and like so many were devastated by their victory. With many fallen and more wounded the Glasstree pact was stretched to breaking but even in these desperate times the will of their ancestors held the families together. Their mutual support saw them through the upheaval afterwards the war as the Kaldorei healed their wounds and came to terms with their unwanted mortality.

The Shattering
Long-time supporters of Malfurion Stormrage, the Glasstree that had stood for so long and through so many perils, has dramatically shattered since his mysterious affliction. Member after member of the three families has disappeared, been driven to terrifying insanity or been tragically killed. Today the Glasstree lies in ruins, its power gone and it's families scattered and living in fear.

Nishma, the Glass Druid
Although his name is lost to time, a Moonbrook was one of those present on that night so long ago. The family is an old one with deep roots in druidism, and it is a talent that has found a natural outlet in Nishma. Exhibiting a flair for healing that astounded many in one so young, Nishma's father, a powerful druid himself, oversaw her tutelage personally, ushering her along her path with care and kindness.

Though she fought in the Third War the Glasstree's influence, at her father's instigation, kept her from many of the more bloody battles and despite her protests saw her safely away from the front lines at Mount Hyjal, a shame that she carries still.

More recently her father was one of the first to disappear when the Glasstree began to unravel. With him went her mother's sanity, culminating in her horrific suicide. Her family destroyed and the Glasstree in pieces at her feet, Nishma fled into the wilds, spending her time in solitary contemplation of her family's fate. Now she has emerged, stronger and more confident than before and now determined to find the source of the Glasstree's undoing, a source that she considers to be all too close to home.
