There are a lot of names flying around, and its getting hard to keep track of things. Hence this overview thread. All the characters (non-player) relating to this storyline will be found here, with a summary of what we know about them so far. As a result, everyone who has been actively participating can regard all of this as IC knowledge.

Characters are ordered by their affiliation, and their status as main- or side character will also be listed. They are listed last name first in chronological order

Cenarion Circle

Mantlebranch, Adon
Main or side character: Side Main character.
Dead or alive: Alive
Occupation: Cenarion Archivist.
Role in Endgame: After Jaen gave no further intelligence, Lekilor was approached by Adon. Adon told Lekilor that Fanaion might be in the Western Plaguelands. No-one in Moonglade seems to really know Adon, or how he even came to be there. Because of this, and the farfetched notion of Fanaion being in the Western Plaguelands, Lekilor suspects Adon that there might be some connection between Adon and Fanaion.

Moongale, Jaen
Main or side character: Side character.
Dead or alive: Dead, murdered.
Occupation: Cenarion Archivist.
Role in Endgame: Jaen is the first Archivist Lekilor Riversong spoke to when Taiev asked him to contact the Cenarion Circle for information about Fanaion. He is reluctant to comply, but tells Lekilor that Fanaion Greyclaw and Nyra Darktree both joined the War of the Shifting Sands as part of the Silver Sentinel's Winterspring garrison. Fanaion was also described to be an "couragous, if impetuous warrior, who was bad at taking orders". Lekilor pushes him for more information, but to no avail. Later that day, the archivist is found dead.

The Silver Sentinels on the Eldre’Thalas expedition during the War of the Shifting Sands

Greyclaw, Fanaion
Main or side character: Main character.
Dead or alive: Alive.
Occupation: Former Silver Sentinel, now Satyr.
Role in Endgame: The Silver Sentinels got on Fanaion’s trail when they launched an expedition into Eldre’Thalas to look for the missing Silver Sentinel records, as all the records pertaining to the War of the Shifting Sands had been lost, and there was reason to believe they might’ve been taken there. Once there, symbols of the Silver Sentinels are found, indicating that group did indeed go there. The records Taiev was looking for were also found, giving the Silvereye valuable information about which Silver Sentinels partook in the War, and also whether or not they survived.

But perhaps even more valuable is Fanaion’s journal. The first pages tell of his experience during the end of the War of the Shifting Sands and end with an entry in Eredun, speaking of the great work and revenge. The middle pages were empty, yellow and old. The last pages looked brand new, leading to the eventual discovery of Nyra’s journal.

A decoded message is also found, saying that Fananion has found some way of shape shifting through means of the Arcane arts. The extent of this ability is unknown, but it is highly dangerous nonetheless.

Fanaion is also suspected to have killed the Archivist Jaen Moongale, and be in fact none other than Adon Mantlebranch. If that is the case, he has been staying in the Burrow Den near Starfall Village, and might have even attacked Nasheen Wintersong when she came close to the Den.

?, Centrius
Main or side character: Side character.
Dead or alive: Dead, murdered.
Occupation: Silver Sentinel.
Role in Endgame: He is mentioned in Fanaion’s journal, who might have killed him.

?, Eldariel
Main or side character: Side character.
Dead or alive:Unknown.
Occupation: Silver Sentinel.
Role in Endgame: He is mentioned in Fanaion’s journal as the leader of the expedition to Eldre’Thalas. Fanaion also refers to him as a friend.

?, Lorion
Main or side character: Side character.
Dead or alive: Dead, murdered.
Occupation: Silver Sentinel.
Role in Endgame: He is mentioned in Fanaion’s journal, who might have killed him.

Silver Sentinels

Bearclaw, Kaleborn
Main or side character: Side character.
Dead or alive: Died at the battle for Hyjal.
Occupation: Keeper.
Role in Endgame: Kaleborn was the Keeper of the Silver Sentinels during the time of the Shifting Sands. He allowed an expedition to be launched into Eldre’Thalas, in order to search it for artifacts. He would later start an investigation to learn more about the mysterious deaths of some of the expedition members.

Darktree, Nyra
Main or side character: Main character.
Dead or alive: Unknown.
Occupation: Silver Sentinel.
Role in Endgame: Much about Nyra is currently a mystery. Nyra’s existence became known to the Silvereye when Ashtear Forestsong was able to break the spell (incidentally triggering a magic trap placed on them) cast on the last pages of Fanaion’s journal, revealing them to be in fact pages from Nyra’s journal. Why Fanaion kept pages from Nyra’s journal, or why he even had them in his possession can only be speculated about.

Oracle, the
Main or side character: Main character.
Dead or alive: Alive.
Occupation: Seer.
Role in Endgame: The Oracle contacted the Silvereye in the end of November, and has not said anything since. It’s the Oracle who sent the Silvereye into Ahn’Qiraji for the annual Wild Hunt, asking them things like “Do you remember like she does?” and stating that there was “unfinished business”. It is assumed that the ‘she’ the Oracle referred to is Nyra, and that she is the unfinished business. It can be argued that the Oracle put the Silvereye on the path of Endagame.
Little is known about the Oracle itself. We know that the Oracle needs an active Seal of the Moon to be able to contact the Silvereye, something which might explain why so little is known, as the Seal has slumbered for many centuries. Name, age and even the gender of the Oracle are unknown.

Starchild , Liasanya
Main or side character: Side character.
Dead or alive: Unknown. 20-0:2 Dead.
Occupation: Silver Sentinel.
Role in Endgame:Not much is known about Liasanya. Nyra’s journal indicated the two might have been friends. 07-05: Nyra confirms Liasanya is a close, childhood friend of hers.

Wrong, Lekilor never said or thought that Adon is Fanaion. He does, however, suspect that Adon is linked to Fanaion somehow and/or may be serving his cause.

Should probably be "later that day" rather than "a few days later".

The dark times will pass. We will persevere. Remember the Keeper.

20 Astrahe

We discovered Liasanya Starchild's file in Starfall Village tonight. Liasanya's picture looks nothing like the one on the sketches we found in the Barrow Den. She joined the Silver Sentinels 10 years before the start of the War of the Shifting Sands, and she died shortly before the end of the war.
