Posts like this aren't easy to write, so I'll keep it short, snappy and to the point.

It's my turn to leave Silvereye and go on to pastures new. The most obvious question is 'why', and that's the first I'll answer: Venia doesn't fit with the guild anymore. She hasn't fit for a while now, and that grates a little on me as I like to see things maintain integrity. Truthfully speaking, Venia should've been removed or at least exiled a while ago for her wavering faith.

Secondly is as time draws on, I'm enjoying organised roleplay less and less. Sounds odd, sure, but I prefer to keep things casual in WoW - it seems most suited to that. It's why a lot of important things that've happened to Venia have happened purely in story-form, not in-game. The combination of low event attendance and a character that doesn't mesh with the guild certianly means it's time to move on.

You're a lovely bunch, and honestly I'm happy to have been included in such a great bunch. The enthusiasm, drive and will to create good storylines and roleplay has earned you a special place in my heart. Expect to see Venia in all her dark, cheery glory attending a few open events in the future.

I hate to say it, but if you're like me, you'll end up feeling this was the biggest mistake you ever made Then again, you're not, so you might not. If I really do enjoy AoC as much as I intend to, at least I won't have the displeasure of seeing all these Night Elf Deathknights wandering around

Can only say that I agree fully with your reasons, Ven. I've felt odd about SE "tolerating" Ven's behavior for some time. Never really found a good way for Sent to react to the whole thing. And this would only have gotten worse once you turned her into a *cringe* deathknight.

That said, I'm said to see *YOU* go. While our characters have had their ups and downs with each other, I have nothing but respect for you as a person. You're a lovely writer and a lovely RP'er, and I've enjoyed the time with you and old-Ven-before-the-corruption immensely...and our brief with encounter my gnome and Steph was nothing short of hilarious. I wish you the very best and that we may meet again in some other way.

Even though I really didn't know you Venia, I wish you the best of luck with your choice. Because to follow your heart is always right. Maybe our ways will cross somehow, someday. See you when you get there.
