A warparty is bound for the lost city of Eldre'Thalas, seeking out the fate of the survivors of the Silver Sentinels who travelled there after the War of the Shifting Sands.

The truth of their fate must be discovered.

A swift frigate departs the Auberdine dock for Feathermoon Island this evening at the start of the 19th hour.

Meeting with the Keeper in Auberdine, a small warparty of Silvereye gathered, grim-faced and well-prepared to venture into the depths of Eldre-Thalas. Their goal: to learn the fate of a band of Silver Sentinels last heard of on a journey into Eldre'thalas a millenia before.

Answering the Keeper's call were Shan Gilthas and Lekilor, and the warrior Nasheen. The Guardian Aldaron and Shan Ashtear were on their way, but could not join the group as they departed Aubderine. Instead, they would join as they could, later.

This delay would prove most fortuitous.

A follower of the Shamanic ways, a Draenei name Heily joined the warparty. While the Keeper was concerned about outsiders being present for such an expedition, she realised the need for all the strength possible when facing the foul Satyr of Eldre'Thalas.

Finally, before setting out, the Keeper sent word to Acrona Winterflow, knowing that the moonlit orchid's sense for the arcane would be useful.

Passing through the wild forests of Ferelas, the warparty made good time along the overgrown roads.

Approaching Eldre'Thalas, the Keeper spoke of the history of the place, of the forbidden malfeasances in its vaults, and of the clans of Satyr who occupied the eastern wings. Splitting into two groups to cover more ground, and pass unnoticed the Keeper took Nasheen, Heily, and later Shan Ashtear, while Gilthas lead a group, able to take on the nature of the panther and slip unnoticed in and out. By needs, the Keeper's party came quickly to blows, and cut their way through with the minimum of fighting.

Deep in the vaults, the Silvereye parties found what they were looking for. A half-rotting journal, written by Fanaion, speaking of the War of the Shifting Sands was found amongst the poor belongings in a Satyr hovel. Securing this, the Keeper lead her party back to the surface without further trouble.

More ominously, Acrona soon noticed that a few amongst the Satyr carried sigils and devices she recognised. As the three Shans slipped unnoticed through the throng, they found a lone individual sullenly pondering over such a silver device. They slew the foul creature, and looking at the disc more closely their suspicions proved true. It was a sigil of the Silver Sentinels! But how had such a thing come to be in the hands of the Satyr?

Moving further they found piles of seemingly forgotten or abandonned documents, and amongst them a manifest of names, ranks, listing times of death or "fate unknown". Realising this was what they had come here to retrieve, Gilthas ordered the withdrawal, and soon returned to the surface to meet with the Keeper and her party.

Outside, in the blessed uncorrupted air of Ferelas a council was held. What was the truth of the sigils? What did the manifest describe? Who was Fanaion?

Finally, the Guardian Aldaron arrived, fresh from battle. He had encountered a Sindorei caravan in the woods and killed its guards. Amongst the wreckage he had found many crates of arms and armour. Upon seeing it, Nasheen realised it was the same as she and Kinly had found in Ashenvale. How were the two groups linked?

And why would the Satyr have symbols from the Silver Sentinels?
