Keeper,

I come bearing grave news. While I was out in the jungles of Un’Goro I encountered a devilsaur. I know they are not uncommon n the region, but there was something strange about this one.

I found him ravaging a group of gorillas, instead of hunting them for food, he was killing them, nothing else.
When he spotted me (what in itself was fairly strange since I’ve become quite able to hid myself from the creatures of the forest), I was forced to take it down with the very fortunate help of the huntress Shikome.
We then found a strange wound in the back of the devilsaurs neck. After further examination we found what, I believe, was one of the sillithid near the brain-stem.
Due to lack of better reference, I’d say it looked like a cockroach, only about 5 times as large. After examinating the creature I found it secreting some sort of fluid I cannot determine. Perhaps I could have the help of a more experienced alchemist in this matter.
What I think, and fear, is that this fluid affected the creature’s behavior. I’ve heard there are some addictive herbs that can have the same effect.

I would like to ask for the help of the circle. If what I fear is true, then I don’t know what consequences it may have. But I’m sure it can’t be good for the wildlife of Azeroth.
I hope to have given you enough information in this matter, and to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,

Kyndra

*A swift reply, penned in a precise hand*

This is ominous news, Kyndra, although sadly not unexpected. I believe it will be necessary not only to learn more about what has transpired in Un´Goro, but also with the Silthids more generally.

Therefore, I encourage you to return to Un'goro in greater force, accompanied by an alchemist and gather as much information as possible. At the same time, I believe we should launch a larger campaign to learn the exact extent of the silthid presence on Kalimdor.

I will speak more of this tonight at the meeting.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention, Kyndra!
