I'm going to put it in a rougher manner, for once.

Tough.

You're basically telling everyone you're going to continue the Silvereye, regardless that those who are in charge voted not to, and to put it in hiatus. This is commonly called mutiny. Worse still you're just being rude unnecessarily, taking things out of context. Just saying "that's how I am" doesn't justify not having manners, and keeping a civil discussion. Oh, and I'm using hypocrisy here to see if I can get the point through to everyone. You say you see far more benefit in something that is active, but also "SE has been pretty inactive before endgame even started". People have already left and begun their own things, most notably Laythe's new guild as mentioned here.

Since you put it so bluntly, I'm not going to try and convince you to just get on with something else, but I'm going to work hard to respect the wishes of those that made ALL of what you see.

And, just for completion's sake. "No".

Edit: Didn't enjoy this, by the by, I'll maintain a politer manner in the following discussion.

I firmly understand that it is not the mark of a great leader to refuse to allow their creation to move in new hands. I know it is selfish, and perhaps even cruel to wish to decide how the Silvereye ends.

But all that I have ended is a storyline and a thematic framework. Neither of which are horrendously original it must be admitted.

My actions can have no effect on the wishes of a group of driven, motivated, inventive and positive players who wish to go on. Create something new, invent the next iteration of the story, take the step into the unknown together with the people you admire. The air is bracing out here.

Remember, above all, that a guild tag is simply a chat channel, and no more - and as has been pointed out, what matters is the people. Surely something as tenuous as pixels and a title cannot define that, otherwise it would be lost as soon as you left the guild. And the connection self-evidently remains.

As the channel SEcommunity proves, you don't have to wear the tag to have that connection. Indeed, a lot of people ended up hanging around the channel for very ill-defined reasons (perhaps it was a convenient way to stay in touch?).

As the Sunbranch Court shows, you don't even have to be on the same faction to coordinate roleplaying together with people you like.

So, as we see, it is entirely possible to connect, and enjoy the game and achieve all manner of wonderful things without actually being under <Silvereye>. All that is needed is the connection that symbolised.

Perhaps this site should morph into a forum version of "SEcommunity"? Then new projects of all sorts could launch out of here, and we could all stay in touch?

In the end, I am only telling you how one thing ends, and I look forward to hearing how something new will begin.

But I fear that acrimony at this point will destroy that connection quite completely.

Thank you for accusing me of mutiny without even hearing me out or asking any questions, Aerie. "fuck you too!"

Yeah, very childish of me in many different accounts. But you completely missed the point and give it your own spin. I'm a hypocrit and I addmit it, but you're even worse!

I don't like you you don't like me, so stop replying to my threads. This is my last reply to you.

If I am without manners, so are you. If I take things out of context, so do you. You've proven that quite clearly in you last post.

I'll spell this out quite clearly: "I'm interested in having SE continue on with it's whole story and lore added into it as it was created. I'm not cappable of leading anything or raising a mutiny. All I'm cappable of is raising my voice and dissagreeing with something. which is what I'm doing now."

Sunbranch Court is prime example of what I'm not cappable of. I have some good ideas but I cannot act on them. Simple as that.

As for my behavior: It has been socially inacceptable since my birth and I live with that dissabilety. I know this and that is the reason I ussually stay quiet. And I know your types very well too. You DO enjoy it, love to put me in my place when I come out of my quiet corner to raise an objection to something I have problems with. You love to feel superior and flaunt your seniority and whit where you can.

You DO enjoy it or you would not have bothered to write all that.

You attacked me, I attacked you. we're even.

I am who I am. I don't care what you say, I cannot help it. Oh and I did try with therapy session after therapy session. So, shut up about what you have no idea about. You have no idea who I am or what I've been through, nor did you take the time to find out. So you have no right to talk about my character and make your own viscious little interpertations of it to suit your slander.

I thought Silvereye was community of equals. I've tried very carefully to make known that I might have some ideas for consideration, before I even wrote this thread.

Two are supportive.

Several have to think about it.

Three tell me very clearly to leave it be. And I will not. Not untill all the ideas of the people who'd like to go on have been heard and viewed with an open mind. And a descision has been made on those.

And one has gone out of his way to attack me.

So, I'm suggesting "all" ideas open on the table and for everyone to read. A discussion on those ideas without personal attacks. A vote among everyone who's interested. And the final descision of the the officers.

Next personal attack by anyone earns a ban from the forums.

Also, as I said, I'd love to hear ideas about moving on.

Hello

Natashy here

I have read all the posts given in this topic..

You have complete lost the issue. This is a question about: Somebody is winning something and somebody is losing something.

Why can't we joy with the winners, and pat the loosers?

Atleast not start a fight after all we've been through!

Sometimes our own paths takes separate directions. You all have to accept that.
And find your new path. Not start a war against your allies and friends!

Specially against those that have given you all great time and joy, and started, created it.

You should feel honor and greatfullness for them, that they have spend their time with You.

Silvereye, without specially Taiev is not a Sivlereye and will never ever be.

Maybe "Bronzeeye" I don't know, create that dream and invite your soulmates.

Greetings

Natashy

*raises eyebrow*

Calling people "winners" and/or "losers" is degrading to either party no matter which view they have or what they are. dry.gif

There is no subtext in what Natashy wrote, I am fairly sure.

And as I said, if we go looking for confrontation then we will surely find it.

If you want to start something new, do it. Just dont try and undermine the arguments of everyone who opposes you by reading absurd subtexts into their entirely rational points.

Its somewhat fitting that my final post should be the bollocking of someone who should know better, old habits die hard.

Start something new, i'd love to see it succeed, genuinely.

[Edit] Naaaah, chose to delete my post again, saw that all had been said and the matter had been resolved already.

Still though, wow. o.O Not what I'd expected to see on what was supposed to have been a joy-visit.
