Part One: The Moonstriker

The sun shone high and brightly, looming across the plains of Quel’Thalas. Just atop the mountains near Silvermoon City, inside Allanoth Keep, a terrified servant was running as fast as his legs could keep up. It only took the servant a few minutes before he had reached the outer gardens of the stronghold, gazing upon the very person to hold together the defense of such an immense keep: Lord Thelshar Firesun. Carefully, Thelshar turned around to look upon the terrified servant, who was trembling immensely as he glanced back to his lord, with hands stained in the clear red color of blood.
«Explain yourself servant.» Thelshar calmly spoke, not yet having noticed the blood-stained hands of the terrified servant. The servant hesitated to reply for a moment, as his voice was somewhat shaky and his words were stuttering.
«There…» He barely managed to speak up before Thelshar finally noticed the hands.
«Another murder?» The servant nodded at the question. Quickly motioning with his hands, Thelshar had commanded a group of five soldiers to appear at his side.
«Show us.» He spoke, as the servant nodded back, leading the group of soldiers inside the Keep. The guards were nearly upon the brink of throwing up. The sight was gruesome indeed, but only the cold and vengeful could stand to do such a horrible thing. Thelshar himself sighed as he starred down upon the corpse of another servant, whose head had been beheaded from its body. The head lay beside the body, and upon the forehead was the clear symbol of a sun carved into the servant’s head. Thelshar turned around with yet another sigh.
«Remove it. Clean it up.»He coldly spoke as he began to walk away from the scene, leaving the guards there to clean up the bloody mess of the murder.

«Dear?» Thelshar softly spoke as he entered the room, which could most radically be described as the room of a wealthy lady. Gently, the lady sitting near her desk turned around.
«What’s going on Thel? You look saddened?» She carefully replied. Thelshar nodded back.
«We just discovered another murder.» The news made the lady gape her mouth open in shock, as the news of yet another murder was quite disturbing. For weeks, servants and off-duty guards had been mercilessly assassinated throughout the Keep. All of them had appeared dead in the same way; Beheaded with a bleeding sun marked on their forehead. Ever since the tragic death of Kinly Shadowsun, there had been nothing but brewing trouble and disasters looming over the Firesun family. Not only had the murders in the Keep affected the lives of everyone living inside it, but also at the surrounding few farms atop the mountain, things had changed. Without warning, and with no signs of anything natural, farms had caught fire and entire crops had been consumed by the raging flames. Yet, entirely somewhere else, near the now ruined former home of Kinly Shadowsun in Ashenvale Forest, a stranger cloaked in dark camouflaging robes was wandering around.

«So, it was here it was fought…» The stranger slowly spoke, although there was no one else to be seen around. Carefully the stranger knelt down and felt the gentle grass with the tips of some fingers. Sighing for a moment, the stranger returned to stand, before taking a glance towards the beach that was Zoram Strand. With yet another sigh, the stranger turned around and began to walk towards the road again. Near the road, two black nightsabers were seen, one of them already mounted by an armed night elven male.
«You done now sis?» The male asked as the stranger approached the unmounted saber.
«Yes, I am done.» The stranger replied as she removed the hood covering her face as it revealed a fairly young night elven female with clear white hair.
«Where to now then, sis?» The male eagerly inquired as his female companion prepared the nightsaber for riding.
«Now, we go to Quel’Thalas.» She spoke with a smirk on her face.

«General.» The guardian hurriedly spoke as he stood face to face with Thelshar.
«What is it?» Thelshar calmly, yet somewhat annoyed.
«There is two visitors at the gate. They demand to speak with the rulers of the Keep. They say it’s important.» The guardian continued to speak.
«Send them away, whatever it is they know, it certainly can’t be more important than the matters we’re already going through.» Thelshar commandingly retorted.
«They say they’ve had knowledge of a…Kinly Shadowsun?» The guardian slowly spoke.
«I told you --» Thelshar began to speak, but the instant Caelinna entered the room, he turned silent.
«Let them in.» She spoke softly, nodding to the guardian with a serious stare. The guardian nodded nervously before he disappeared from the room shortly after.
It only took a few minutes before the two guests were seated at a table along with Caelinna and Thelshar. Both of them were clearly nervous, just as one would expect, since the room was surrounded with guards armed to the teeth.
«Please, try to ignore the guards. They’re a necessity for us nowadays.» Caelinna spoke.
«Well then, now that you are here, why don’t you introduce yourself?» Thelshar inquired.
«With pleasure. I am Ish’anoria Moonstriker, and this is my brother, Alderamin.» The female night elf visitor spoke with the smile of a grin.

The following event takes place before the last of the ‘bleeding sun’ murders.

Prequel The Bleeding Sun

«How is it possible Captain, that my servants get slain one by one and your man have not yet found the suspect hmm?» Thelshar stared at the captain with a cold look. Day after day servants where getting slain in his keep. One after another servant wanted to leave the keep, but by his orders the gates where locked now. No one would go in or out before they knew who was behind this terrible act.
«I don’t know milord, we have tighten the patrols and most of the soldiers are on active duty all the time» the captain looked exhausted and slightly frightened. «We haven’t slept much for day’s sir, we doing our best».
«Neither have I Captain. Now make sure no one walks alone these days will you captain?» Thelshar tapped the captain on the shoulder before turning around. «Everyone stays in their rooms until further orders. When one has to leave their room for whatever reason they will be escorted all the time. Your soldiers will always walk in pairs. No one, and I say again, no one is allowed to be alone in the keep».
«Yes milord» the captain said as Thelshar left the captains room followed by two of his personal guards.

For a moment the captain stared at the wooden door in front of him. «Lieutenant you heard the general, commence the given order right away. Inform all personal, make new schedules for the troops».
The lieutenant saluted the captain and was about to leave the room.
«Lieutenant?»
«Yes captain?» he turned around to face his commanding officer
«Get some sleep when you done so. I fear you won’t see any for a while long time»
«Will do captain» the young lieutenant left the office.

The servants where gathered in the meeting hall at the beginning of the evening. It was crowded and everyone was nervous. People talked with each other as they waited for the ladies arrival.
«It’s insane they won’t let us leave the keep, and now we are not even allowed to go to bathroom alone if we have too? When will this madness stop?» Some complained. The crowed turned silent when the big doors opened and the personal guards marched into the room followed by the lady Caelinna. As usual her husband walked at her side.
Caelinna stood on the podium with Thelshar at her right side a bit to the back while the soldiers stood in front of them.
«Dear people of Allanoth» she began. «The last few weeks have been hard on us all. Someone is trying to harm us. And to protect you, our people, we have had to engage in some drastic orders. I apologize dearly for this and, I can understand you want to leave the keep and want more privacy, but please keep in mind this is all to protect you».
«Protect us?» someone shouted from the crowd. «You are locking us up within these walls to get slaughtered. Where can we go while an assassin is lurking around waiting for its next prey!»
«Yeah, and your soldiers follow us even into the bathroom. And when we need to go we have to wait till one of the soldiers has time to escort us even. This is no life, we are just prisoners» someone else shouted.
Caelinna looked over the crowed to spot the ones shouting. «I understand this bothers you all, but there is no other way. If we open the gates again the assassin could escape and than our slain people have done not got their justice when this assassin gets away. And our soldiers are busy patrolling the keep, every square meter will be overlooked, we cannot take any risks. But please try to stay calm. We all have to stay calm, we have chaos enough already. We only mean the best for you. Together we can do this, we are Allanoth’s people, all of us are. Will we let this assassin gets its way by terrifying us, or shall we stand as proud Allanotherians and get through these dark times and make an example that no one can harm us, no assassin and no army! Allanoth and its people shall be the ones still standing after whatever happens to us. There for I, as your lady, ask you. Will you stand by me? Will you stand by me so together we will overcome these dark times? Together we stand, divided we fall!»
More and more servants began to cheer at their lady. They would stand vigilant in these dark days. No one could shatter the inner strength of the new Allanoth.

Part Two: The Bloodsun

«As you understand, our gates have been closed since the murders began. It has so far been our only hope of catching the assassin, and bring him to justice. Once he is found, I can promise my people that justice will be indeed swift.» Caelinna spoke as herself and Ish’anoria walked down the hallways of Allanoth, surrounded by several Firesun Royal Guards.
«You certainly act as the rumors of you go.» Ish’anoria quickly replied.
«And what are those rumors?» Caelinna eagerly inquired.
«That your rule is much more respected and valued than that of your father.» Ish’anoria grinned, while Caelinna sighed and nodded.
«My father was a tyrant. He cared neither for his people, nor his own family. All he cared for was power. During the last years of his reign, he sealed himself within his own personal tower of this Keep, so in a sense, my brothers were the real rulers during that time.» Caelinna spoke.
«And they were killed as your family’s war with the Shadowsun continued?» Ish’anoria asked gently, looking seriously at Caelinna.
«Yes, until Thelshar came along.» Caelinna continued to walk with a serious expression.
«Why was he so different?»
«Simply because everyone else had been warmongers. Together with Thelshar, we began to plot to overthrow my father’s tyrannical reign. In the end, as you probably already know, it came to the end at the battle near the tranquil shores. Many have died under his reign, and even more under the rebellion against him; But those who survived are happier than ever.»
«And you never held contact with the Shadowsun after the battle?» Ish’anoria was eager to know.
«We held contact, but not very much. There were times when we’d meet up with Kinly and discuss matters of importance, but nothing beyond that.» Caelinna sighed as she responded.
«All right. Well, do you have any who would want to bring your reign to an end?» Ish’anoria inquired, as they stopped moving before they walked into a small room. Two guards followed, while two others stood at guard outside.
«Well, I do actually. I suspect those who were loyal to my father are behind this. They were sent into exile after the battle, and we’ve never seen any of them after that.» Caelinna replied.
«Any of them who were particularly violent? Who could do these kind of murders?»
«Only two lords spring to my mind.» Caelinna swiftly replied as she turned to the table and filled two small glasses with some wine, then elegantly handed one to Ish’anoria.
«And they are?» Ish’anoria continued to ask before she took a sip of the wine.
«Lord Vharnis and Lord Vershanor, they were brothers, and both cruel to the bone. Only one of them would be able to do this however.»
«Why is that?» Ish’anoria took another sip of the wine.
«Because before the final battle against my father, I killed Vharnis. He had discovered our plot to overthrow my father, so I killed him in order to keep it a secret.»
«Well, then that makes Vershanor a strong suspect doesn’t it?» Ish’anoria replied.
«It does, but according to my reports, he’s nowhere near this Keep, nor Quel’Thalas for that matter.» Caelinna sighed as she took the last sip of her wine.
«Well, where is he then?» Ish’anoria requested.
«Last time he was reported to be fighting gladiators in Gadgetzan.»
«The arena ring there?» Caelinna nodded slowly.
«Well, if you trust me enough by now…Perhaps we ought to take a journey there to inquire information from him?» Ish’anoria gently inquired.

Later that same day, the gates of Allanoth opened for a minute as Caelinna and Ish’anoria rode away, with the company of several royal guards. As quickly as they were out of the gate, the gate shut itself, sealing the rest inside once more. Thelshar himself sighed as the gates closed, but quickly turned around and begun to order the remaining soldiers around.
For weeks, Caelinna and Ish’anoria rode hard and long until they had finally reached their destination: The goblin city of Gadgetzan, in the desert of Tanaris.
«So, what now?» Caelinna quickly asked as the two stood in the middle of the busy town.
«Now, we find him.» Ish’anoria quickly replied as they began their search for Vershanor.
Their search turned quickly out to be in vain, for Vershanor was nowhere to be found.
Sighing at the disappointment, Caelinna looked to Ish’anoria.
«Right, what do we do now? Start to ask people what they know?» Ish’anoria grinned.
«That’s not a bad idea. Thanks for the idea Caelinna.» Ish’anoria snickered to Caelinna as she rushed off to poke random people, asking them all kinds of questions regarding Vershanor.
«Ish’anoria! What are you doing?» Caelinna rushed over to Ish’anoria, anxious of her sudden movements.
«Well, I asked people what they knew. And guess what?» Ish’anoria smiled wickedly.
«What?» Caelinna quickly and rudely inquired.
«Vershanor left Gadgetzan a month ago. According to the arena organizers, another blood elf by the name of, yes prepared to be surprised, Thaldon came to visit. You want to tell me how that is possible Caelinna? I thought your father was dead.» Ish’anoria rudely requested.
«He is my brother. My father named him after himself to ensure that his legacy continued…»
«I see. So, according to these goblin guys here, your brother, Thaldon II came here to visit Vershanor, and then the next day, Vershanor resigned from the arena and left town with your brother? Sure sounds like something is up to me.» Caelinna nodded at Ish’anoria.
«But that still doesn’t explain the mark of the sun on the forehead of the killed victims. Did your brother say anything to you during or after the rebellion against your father?»
«Now that I think of it, just before he fled my soldiers, he shouted something. I think it was something along the line of ‘The blood of the sun shall render your heart for the damnation you have inflicted’ or something.» Ish’anoria sighed as she looked to the skies.
«Your brother, Thaldon II has been working on a plan to take revenge then. Seems like the pieces of this puzzle is finally falling into place. Your brother has somehow been assassinating citizens of Allanoth. How, I still have no idea.» Caelinna nodded gently but worried at Ish’anoria’s conclusion.
«We need to get back to Allanoth. Thelshar must be told of these disturbing news.» Caelinna quickly spoke, and Ish’anoria nodded as she could not have agreed more. With the news acquired, Caelinna and Ish’anoria quickly departed from Gadgetzan, heading back home to Allanoth.

Back in Allanoth, matters had turned to the worse. Thelshar and the guards had found themselves overrun by sudden rebelling citizens. As the battles had continued to rage inside the halls and hallways of Allanoth, the guards had eventually gained the higher ground and sealed the line between themselves and the sudden rebellion.
«Sir! The blockade won’t last much longer!» One of the soldiers yelled out as the soldiers kept on keeping the blockade of tables and chairs together to keep the rebels away from them.
«We need to face them. Captain!» Thelshar spoke anxiously.
«Yes sir?» The captain quickly reported.
«Gather the remaining soldiers. We’ll make our stand here within the hour.»
«As you command, sire!» The captain quickly obeyed as he disappeared.
«Prepare for assault men!» Thelshar shouted out after the hour had passed. Every single Firesun guard now stood behind the blockade, as they saw the rebels push further and further, as the blockade began to weaken. Within minutes, the blockade was torn down as the storms of rebelling citizens armed with pitchforks and kitchen knives came rushing at the guards, who had organized into a squared box formation, forming a formidable shield wall with their squared shields. Behind the lines of the rebels, Thelshar quickly spotted the eye of the rebel leader, as beside him stood another blood elf, dressed in troll-like armor, disguising his face and body. With a swift move, Thelshar aimed his bow slightly, and let go as he fired a single arrow towards the rebel leader. Seconds from release, the arrow struck its target as the troll-dressed elf lay dead beside the rebel leader.
«You finally killed your assassin Lord Thelshar! But your reign ends here!» The rebel leader wickedly laughed. Thelshar gave the nod to the Captain as he prepared to speak.
«Attack!» He shouted out as the soldiers began to fight back against the amassing rebels.
For minutes, the battle raged between the soldiers and the rebels. Quickly in the mass of chaos, Thelshar elegantly fought his way towards the rebel leader. Once their eyes met on the field, their weapons alike clashed steel with steel. Minutes passed by as the battle grew furious, but it seemed as the soldiers were partly gaining the upper hand.
«You’ll never win Thelshar!» The rebel leader shouted out.
«Guess again!» Thelshar confidently replied, as behind him, the captain had climbed up to the second floor, carrying along with himself something that seemed like a horn. Elegantly, he blew it three times as its sound ringed across the halls of Allanoth.
«What is that?!» The rebel leader shouted out as he kept fighting Thelshar.
A minute later, all the doors leading to the hall in which the battle was taking place opened.
Out of the newly opened doors came rushing citizens, armed to the teeth with professional swords and shields. As they approached the fight, they quickly took arms against the rebels.
«Your time is over, rebel.» Thelshar spoke with a grin as he caught the rebel leader in a surprising moment, striking at his legs. With shattered knees, the rebel leader fell to his knees and looked up at Thelshar. He needn’t speak any words, for his face expression alone revealed the fact that he begged for his life. Silently, Thelshar sliced the throat of the man as he fell to the ground, dead.

(Hi all. I finally decided to pop my head in around here, and I'm here to post the third installment of the story 'The Bleeding Sun', hope you all enjoy, and stay tuned for the fourth and final installment which will come later this week smile.gif )

Part Three: The Allanothian War

The journey from Gadgetzan had been long and hard, but finally after a few weeks, Caelinna and Ish’anoria had landed on the beaches of Quel’Thalas, once back in the glorious kingdom of the blood elves. Tired and exhausted, their small group had set up a nice and cozy camp at the shores.
«So tell me Ish’anoria, is what you told me in Allanoth really true?» Caelinna asked as they sat around the bonfire, eating food which had been properly prepared for them.
«Yes, it is. I nearly didn’t believe it myself when I found out.»
«Didn’t believe what?» A male blood elf dressed in a captain’s gear sat down along with the two, grabbing his own piece of meat to eat.
« Shal'Anhir, how are the rest of the guards?» Caelinna gently asked.
«My lady, they are quite fine. But I am eager to hear what you two were talking about. Is it a story?» Shal’Anhir asked with a grin.
«Go ahead then Ish’anoria, tell us your story again.» Caelinna grinned alongside.
«Well, alright.» Ish’anoria began. «I always knew something was wrong in my family. My foster-father, whom I had believed to me my real father for a long time never, spoke of how his wife died. I knew Alderamin knew, but he would never tell me.» She sighed as she took a quick glance over at Alderamin who sat by the waves, looking into the sea alone.
«So I decided one day to find out the truth. Alderamin said he’d tag along, to make sure I remained safe. It took me a while, but in the end I discovered that I was not related to the Moonstriker family at all. Even as I dug deeper, I discovered that…I was in fact, related to Kinly Shadowsun and her family. In a way, I wished to know more of my true family, so I began to dig into the history the Shadowsun. I know how they had influence over Zoram, and how they eventually lost a battle to the troll known as Jixlida. I found their history unlike any other I’ve ever heard of, and I felt that their legacy was one that should continue. In such a manner, I sat myself the goal of resurrecting that very legacy. My first step in that path however, would be to find the murderer who killed Kinly, and that led me to Caelinna. You both remember the Wars of the Sun, a terrible chain of wars fought for thousands of years between the Firesun and Shadowsun. In the end, with the rise of Caelinna and Thelshar, you brought it to an end at the battle of the tranquil shore. Caelinna here, knew that she could not win the war without assistance, and so if you remember, Kinly and her own soldiers appeared and helped you defeat Thaldon, Caelinna’s tyrannical father. That is the reason why I am here. I wish to bring justice to the murderer who killed my true sister, Kinly.»
«Wow…So how does the murders in Allanoth link you any closer to the murderer?» Shal’Anhir asked gently.
«I don’t know yet, but I will find out.» Ish’anoria quietly and softly spoke before she continued to eat.

Back in Allanoth, Thelshar and the soldiers were busy securing the Keep, while the citizens were busy digging mass graves for the bodies of the fallen soldiers and even the fallen rebels.
Much of the Keep had been razed by the rebels during the battles fought, but with the help of the citizens, Thelshar had quickly managed to bring the Keep back to its former status.
As the time passed on, the gates to Allanoth were slowly opened, but right away, a mysterious rider appeared as soon as the gates were opened.
«Who are you?» The guards inquired.
«Who I am is not important, but what I bring is however. I need to speak to General Thelshar Firesun at once.» The rider replied.
«I am sorry, but that cannot happen. The General is busy at this moment.»
«No I’m not.» Thelshar spoke as he walked to the gate.
«What is that you needed to tell me stranger?» Thelshar asked.
«I was to tell you this: ‘The blood of the sun shall render your heart for the damnation you have inflicted’.» The rider spoke with a grin around his face before he rode away faster than he had arrived. After just slight moment of thinking, Thelshar turned his attention the gate.
«Man the defenses and get the gate closed!» He commanded out as he began to walk back towards the Keep itself. The captain quickly appeared by his side.
«What is going on sire?» He asked.
«Prepare the men for a siege or battle Captain. I believe we are about to be attacked.» Thelshar spoke in a reply before he vanished into the Keep, leaving the Captain out in courtyard, commanding soldiers around to prepare. Right as Thelshar were, a few hours after the sudden arrival of the mysterious rider, an army of a few thousand men appeared on the fields before Allanoth, prepared with catapults and battering rams. Quickly, the leader of the army indentified himself, riding towards the gate upon a dire wolf.
«Thelshar Firesun! I demand to speak with you!» He shouted out loudly.
A few seconds later, the gates opened as Thelshar walked slowly towards the mysterious leader, while archers were prepared to take a shot at the enemy.
«Who are you and why have you come here?» Thelshar quickly requested.
«I am General Vershanor Bloodmist, and I am the leader of the Bloodsun Army.»
«You…» Thelshar slowly spoke as he instantly unsheathed his blade.
«Calm yourself Thelshar…I am simply here to give you an offer.»
«Then make it quick…traitor.»
«Surrender and your life will be spared, do not, and you will all die.» Thelshar’s face expression grew more and more angrily by each passing moment.
«We will fight you to the last man, Vershanor.» Vershanor chuckled at the reply.
«Then prepare your filthy little Keep for a very, very devastating siege…» Vershanor spoke before he began to trot back to his own army, chuckling as he did so. Thelshar sighed and shrugged off the reply as he walked back into the courtyard, with the gate closing behind him.

Back at the shore, Caelinna and Ish’anoria had begun to move again, now heading their way back to Allanoth, still unaware of all that had happened. With the news of the Bloodsun in mind, their speed was nowhere near the normal travelling speed, but instead twice as fast.
There was no time to be lost, for both Caelinna and Ish’anoria knew that their information was critical to the state of Allanoth.
«How far do you think your brother is willing to take this to?» Ish’anoria asked.
«As far as he has to. He’ll raze the Keep to the ground and beyond if he has to.» Caelinna worriedly replied. Ish’anoria nodded as she motioned for her saber to ride even faster, followed by the rest of the group.
«Alderamin.» Ish’anoria spoke as Alderamin rode up next to her on his saber.
«Yes sister?» He replied.
«Take your saber and ride ahead of us. Scout the area around Allanoth, and warn us of any dangers.» Alderamin nodded as he rode away, clearly faster than everyone else.
The journey of the group was long, but within only a few hours, they were beginning to close upon the mountains that led to Allanoth.
«Let’s rest the mounts for a while, or we’ll have to walk the rest of the way.» Caelinna commanded out as they stopped to rest.
«Do you think your brother will be back soon?» Shal’Anhir gently inquired.
«He’ll be here soon…» Ish’anoria spoke calmly, gazing to the mountains that lay in the distance.
After an hour had passed, Ish’anoria clearly seemed somewhat pleased as she noticed her brother riding towards them at the fields in front of them. Quickly, he appeared near the rest.
«What news do you bring my brother?» Ish’anoria calmly asked.
«Terrible. Allanoth Keep is under siege. The invading soldiers are already scaling the walls of the garrison, and the battering ram has nearly broken through the gate.» Alderamin reported with a voice of exhaustion and fright.
«We have to help them then!» Caelinna was quick to burst out.
«No!» Ish’anoria quickly retorted.
«No? My husband is defending that Keep! I won’t just let him die!»
«You’ll only put yourself at risk by charging at the invaders from behind with a group of ten soldiers…I got a better idea.» Ish’anoria spoke with a deceiving voice.
«And what is that?» Caelinna quickly inquired.

The walls were nearly broken and shattered as the Bloodsun soldiers kept on overwhelming the battlements of the Keep from their scaling ladders, while their battering ram had nearly shattered the strong reinforced iron gate. Yet, the Firesun soldiers kept on fighting with valor and courage in their hearts. Along with a group of archers, Thelshar had escalated to one of the top towers, from where they shot down the invading soldiers climbing the ladders.
However, Thelshar found himself quickly out of arrows. Leaving the archers in the tower, he climbed down as he begun to fight alongside with the brave soldiers at the battlements.
«Captain!» He shouted out as the Captain were quick to arrive by his side.
«Yes sir?» He spoke.
«Is the courtyard soldiers ready to fight?» Thelshar spoke as he lashed down another invading soldier, and elegantly sent a swift kick to a ladder, sending it crashing into the masses of soldiers below it.
«They’re ready to fight till the death if required!» the captain quickly replied, cutting down an enemy soldier himself.
«Good, because here they come!» Thelshar yelled back, as the gate was shattered into several large pieces by the battering ram. Only seconds later, the gate was overwhelmed with the invading soldiers, who were eager to rush into the courtyard.
Quickly they were met by the courtyard soldiers, as they began a violent battle.
«Now soldiers!» Thelshar yelled out as the soldiers on the gate battlements turned around and jumped down into the courtyard, jumping down upon the rushing invaders.
Nearly instantly, they joined up with the courtyard soldiers as the battle grew more and more violent and bloody.
«Fight till the last man! For Allanoth!» Thelshar shouted out, trying to raise the men’s morale.

Meanwhile, Ish’anoria had led Caelinna and the group of Firesun guards to a strange shrine in the mountains, not far from the siege. The shine seemed like it was built by the undead, but in fact, no one had ever built it.
«You sure about this Ish’anoria?» Caelinna worriedly asked.
«Trust me, this will work. It has to.» Ish’anoria sighed as she turned her gaze to the shrine.
«But I’ve never heard of this being possible before.»
«One can bring back the dead from the Shadow World through this shrine Caelinna, but it won’t last forever. We have only a small amount of time once the ritual is done.»
«All right, go ahead then Ish’anoria.» Ish’anoria nodded at the go signal from Caelinna.
With closed eyes, Ish’anoria began to mumble strange Kaldoreian words as the shrine began to glow brighter and brighter in azure light blue colors. As the chanting continued, the shrine began to erupt steams of blue waves, crashing into the nearby mountains, shattering some of them in the process.
«Bring back those who are no longer of this world, for their service is required for the fate of others to live!» Ish’anoria finished the chanting, as the blue waves began to charge upwards, just above the shrine. After a slight moment, the waves began to make something that seemed like a azure glowing portal.
«Behold, here they come.» Ish’anoria spoke as the sounds of the bursting portal was immensely frightening. With nearly an instant, two shapes jumped out of the portal; One female and the other male. Quickly they began to take the shape of night elves in darkened armor.
«Who dares to disturb the greatest commanders of the Zoramian Army?» The male night elf quickly spoke before the two shades took to shape their own eyes.
«Caelinna?» The female shade quickly spoke as they could begin to see.
«Greetings Kinly.» Caelinna spoke with some fright in her voice. The shades had now fully taken the shapes and forms of Kinly Shadowsun and her brother, Calandorian Shadowsun.
«Why have I been brought here?» Kinly disturbingly asked.
«I will be quick. Ish’anoria here is your forgotten sister, and my corrupted brother has decided to besiege my Keep, and along with Ish’anoria, we brought you back here, in hope that you will be willing to assist us in ending the siege.» Caelinna quickly explained.
«And what will we gain from this?» Calandorian retorted.
«Your honor, and the insurance that the legacy of the Shadowsun continues. We’ll even do our best to bring justice to your murderer Kinly.» Ish’anoria quickly answered.
«What say you, brother?» Kinly spoke through her ghastly voice, looking at Calandorian.
The battle was growing worse by each minute for Thelshar and his soldiers. Still they kept on fighting like never seen before. The battlements were lost by now, and fight was in full scale both in the courtyard and inside the halls of the Keep. Even the citizens had taken up arms again to fight against the Bloodsun invaders. Thelshar quickly slashed down another enemy soldier as he spotted Vershanor in the courtyard. With anger as a source of strength, Thelshar fought his way through the masses of soldiers until he finally reached Vershanor.
«This time you will not escape traitor!» He yelled out as they clashed steel with steel.
However, Vershanor fought with dual scythes, and quickly began to catch the upper hand as Thelshar only fought with a two handed blade. Vershanor laughed and chuckled madly as the fight dragged on, his eyes nearly glowing out with his intended evilness.
«You know what they call me Thelshar? The Flesh-Render!» Vershanor cackled as he had yelled it out, causing Thelshar to lose his focus on the battle, giving Vershanor the chance to strike at his left shoulder. With a painful strike, Vershanor impaled one of his scythes into Thelshar’s shoulder, as Thelshar fell to his knees grunting in immense pain and agony.
«How does it feel Thelshar? To finally lose? To finally meet your end? Think of it as the same way you murdered Thaldon the First.» Vershanor lifted his remaining scythe high into the air, preparing to finally strike down Thelshar once and for all.
«I would not do that, if I were you!» A mysterious voice shouted out as Vershanor turned his gaze to his right.
«And you are?!» Vershanor shouted out.
«I am Calandorian Shadowsun, but you can call me the Shadowstalker.» He smiled with a grin as his shadowy body leapt towards Vershanor, quickly overcoming the general, sending him into the ground. As Vershanor struggled to get free of Calandorian’s grip, the Bloodsun Army quickly found itself overwhelmed by ghastly Zoramian soldiers being led by Kinly, Caelinna and Ish’anoria. Quickly, the Bloodsun soldiers realized their initial position, and the fact that they were about to lose. With victory in their grasp, the Firesun soldiers began to push ever further, but as the minutes passed by, the Bloodsun Army slowly began to withdraw itself, retreating down the mountain side. Hours had the battle lasted, but now it was finally over. Only a few thousand Bloodsun soldiers had survived, along with Vershanor who had managed to escape from Calandorian. As the wounded were being tended to and as Caelinna sat by Thelshar as the medics worked on his wound, Ish’anoria found herself in the company of Kinly and Calandorian.
«Do you remember seeing who your killer was?» Ish’anoria calmly asked.
«I remember seeing…a blue-robed blood elf…» Kinly slowly replied.
«The Shadow World is calling us back. Take care, and stay well. Bring justice to my murderer!» Kinly shouted out as the shades of herself, Calandorian and the Zoramian soldiers began to fade away until there was nothing left. Their time in the mortal world was once again over. Now, finally at last, it looked as if the Firesun could begin to rebuild their shattered home.
