Greetings Taiev,

By your request, this is my report on the Twilight Hammer's activity in Southern Azeroth and the Blasted Lands in specific. With the ground to cover vast, and the time short, I cannot guarantee this to be a complete report. After all, just because I have not located a camp does not mean there are no Twilight Hammer agents operating in the area. However, I believe that what I discovered in the Searing Gorge and the Blasted Lands will give enough food for thought for the time being.

Blasted Lands
In the scorched land where the sky never rests, I began my investigation. A quick scouting mission revealed that there are no Twilight Cultist camps operating in the Blasted Lands. Believing this to be the only information to report, I was just about to head back to the Keep, when I remembered the stones I saw near the Altar of Storms and the Dark Portal when we fought the demon Shandal'zare. With the balance of this land as upset as it is, it is hard to tell what is 'natural' for this environment and what is not. I am nonetheless of the opinion these stones do not belong here, bearing such a striking resemblance to the stones found in Silithus and indeed, the wind stones used by the Twilight Cultists.

One of the stones I located in the Blasted Lands.

Trying to find out more about the origin of the stones, I ended up visiting the Fallen Hero of the Horde. He told me that during his last battle, Lord Razelikh, demonic overlord of the Blasted Lands, enslaved 18 of his warriors. Nine of them he took as his own, binding them around the Dark Portal. Archmage Allistarj and Lady Sevine of the Shadowsworn both received 3, and the remaining went to Grol the Destroywer, lord of the Dreadmaul ogres. So, more than anything, the Ogres and Shadowsworn hold ties with the Burning Legion and not the Twilight Cultists.

Yet if these stones do come from Silithus, it would seem there is a worrisome link between the Burning Legion and the Land of the Shifting Sands and perhaps even the Twilight Hammer. I do not wish to think of what could happen were the Twilight Hammer to learn of the stones' other use.

Searing Gorge
The only area where I was able to locate Twilight Cultist activity. They have hidden themselves quite well in an area called Firewatch Ridge. It is located in the North of the Searing Gorge and to the West of Thorium Point. The presence of the Twilight Hammer in the Searing Gorge is limited to this, one cave and a ledge, making their hold over this area weak at best. The make up of this group seems different then that of the Twilight Hammer in Silithus, in that they appear to use a lot more fire magic, which makes sense as they serve Ragnaros the Fire Lord (they were very keen on calling his name in their battle cries). Another difference, and it saddens me to report this, is that they have Kaldorei among their ranks. This would however make it possible for a Circle member to infiltrate their ranks, though it would be extraordinary dangerous.

For as far as I can tell, the cave serves as a hiding place and is of little interest. The ledge however is. On the ledge I encountered what I can only describe as a summoning area. It consists of a lava pool, with some sort of stone artefact in the middle. Suffice to say, I did not enter the lava pool to take a closer look of the object though I do believe it merits further investigation.

The summoning area. Inside the lava pool one can see the artefact, resembling a stone.

On a note more related to the safety of our kin than the activities of the Twilight Hammer, I wish to speak of Zamael Lunthistle. I encountered him in the summoning area, he is the spirit trapped in the cage you can see in my drawing. He used to be and is again a Priest of Elune. He told me how he befriended the Twilight Hammer in the Master's Glaive, which led him to abandon his faith and turn to the Old Gods. Elune did not forsake him, and granted him a vision. This made him return to Her teachings and write a prayer. He was found out however, the prayer stolen from him and he was 'killed' as a traitor. His soul is now being held captive to set an example.

I suspect the other Kaldorei who joined the Twilight Hammer also first came in contact with them in the Master's Glaive. I think it is important for us to realise this, and know that not all trainees go to the Master's Glaive to kill the Twilight Hammer.

In conclusion, I can only say that the activities of the Twilight Hammer in the Searing Gorge focus on Ragnaros. Whether or not they have established contact with the Fire Lord I cannot say. I also wish to ask of you to consider investigating the stones found in the Blasted Lands and the object in the lava pool, as I believe these to be a possible threat. I simply cannot ignore the resemblance between these Stones of Binding and the stones encountered in Silithus

Goddes keep you,
Lillyandra Lightningvale, Watcher

P.S. If you wish to further analyse the stones I found in the Blasted Lands, I made a map showing the location of 15 of these stones. I shall of course send it to you if you have need of it.

Sister,

The Twilight's Hammer casts a dark shadow from the grim slopes of Blackrock Mountain
to the Dark Portal itself, it seems.

On my expeditions into the Dark Iron stronghold in the depths of that mountain, it seems increasingly credible that those deluded rebels are seeking an alliance with the Firelord himself.

That alliance is failing with the unceasing assaults by the Vanguard on the Firelord himself, but who knows what grim powers the Dwarves may turn to if their mad alliance fails...
