Sealed with a tarnished red seal. sits a letter. Inside, messy hand writing, scrawled out on faded, dirty paper, the edges torn and frayed.

To whom this may concern,

Please do not judge me based upon the scrawl you see before you. My writing is not the best, but I tried all I could to write out this letter that you are now holding. I was not born with the best of schooling so to speak, and taught myself most of what I know, as far as scholarship goes.

I write this letter to you now as a means of showing the Circle who I am. Yes, it seems everyone has some sort of tale to their life. Events that helped build and shape who they are now, and I am writing to share that.

My name is Hope. My Mother named me Hope, and I never did find out why. It always struck me as such a silly name, and I never really knew the meaning behind such a strange word. My Father however, always called me Synchestra and that is the name I prefer to be called. I am the lady Hope Synchestra Whisperwind.
I was born in Ashenvale and raised there for a small part of my sixty years of living. My Mother was a cook and my Father, a Druid. As far as I can recall, he was still in training, but it was a long time ago, and memories to me are like dreams. Some easily forgotten.

My parents went out on some sort of expedition. I don't know what it was or why they went but they were only meant to be gone for the night. I was left to tend to the house alone for the night and entrusted with the responsibilities that went with it. The following night, there was no sign of them. I waited and waited and still no sign. Nights went by and I prayed to Elune for their safety but still they never came home. I would suppose that is why my memory of my parents is so vague. I never truly got to know who they were.

I waited and waited until one night, a strange woman approached me when I was cooking outside. She called me by name and spoke of my parents. The womans name was Dede Hawkborn, a huntress. She said she was a friend of my family, and that if anything were to go wrong, she was asked by my Mother to look after me. I didn't think to ask questions at the time. I was too scared. Too curious. We ate that night together and she told me about herself. She took me away from my home and into the wilderness. To live and to learn. She raised me into becoming who am I today. Oh, well of course I picked up things here and there from my travels. I learned things for myself and my persona evolved around those things. But Dede saved me...

She left me when she felt I was ready to go into the world. I awoke and she was gone.... all that was left was her bow and a small symbol on the ground, drawn into the dirt. I knew what it meant and I knew why she had gone. Of course, I was sad at first... I missed her, but I was on my own and I had to keep going.

A few years ago, I met another huntress who took me under her wing to train. Her name is Shikome. She was the one who showed me new hunting grounds and allowed me to hone my skills. To become better at my craft. It was training with Shikome that earned me my best friend. A wolf by the name of Chakra, on a hunt through Duskwood. All of my years of training had proven useful. Chakra and I bonded instantly and he has never left my side.

Shikome had spoken to me off the Silvereye. She was always a woman of little words, which peaked my curiosity in most things she spoke briefly about. The old ways of our people came into the conversation, and I took interest. I had to pursue the circle, which is why you are reading the letter I have sent to you. I have always wanted to learn more about the older traditions of our people, and I have found no home or safe haven in which that is possible. I seek now to join the Silvereye. Not only because I seek family, but I seek knowledge and wisdom.

I hope this letter has said enough about myself, and I hope I have made myself clear as to why I have sent this. I hope this letter finds you safely and in good health.

Elune guide us and blessed be,

Synchestra Whisperwind.

[[OOC: Hello, my name is Fern and this is my girl, Synchestra. She's a level 55 huntress, marksman specced. A gold star for the person who can tell me what the name is taken from. Anyway, it has taken me a long time to pluck up the courage to apply to join this guild. I finally decided to go for it after I saw that the guild was recruiting, and well.. here I am *smiles* I tried my best, and I hope to get to meet you all in due time. Enough of the OOC-ness. Speak to you soon.

Fern -x-]]
