Just some updates, now that I have a few moments out from under the weight of work and moving I have been under recently.

This is basically an update on how I see the next 6 odd months for the guild, in terms of development, events and so on. Here are some ideas - please feel free to discuss.

Guild Bank
Thanks to the almighty bounty of Blizzard we now have a guild bank. *pause for applause* There are two tabs, one is open for the entire guild - anyone can deposit, Sentinels and up can withdraw. The other tab is for the officers, and will be used for event logistics and the like. No, you can't see what's in there.

Basically, please use it to store items that a lowbie guild member or alt might want, or things that might be useful at some point. The policy about items is very open - so use the bank as a place to store things that in your opinion might be generally useful. Cash donations are not really so useful right now, I think, so only the officers can make withdrawals. If you deposit cash you need to poke an officer to get it out again.

Recruiting
I think the time has come to begin recruiting a little again. So, if you encounter nightelves who you think might fit our profile, invite them to one of the recurring events (more on this below) and perhaps also direct them to the IRC channel. (They can reach it most easily via: http://www.silvereye.dk/irc )

Events
Within the next week or so you will be able to see some new recurring events in the calender, these will be:

• Circle Meetings - I'd like to squeeze one in before xmas
• Patrols these will be aimed at levelling and questing together on low-level characters, taking advantage of the XP boost. Non kaldorei alts are welcome, but should be within the specified level range.
• "Escalation" - this is a work in progress title, but will be a series of story and RP driven visits to some of the classic raid instances, such as MC, Onyxia and so on. Watch for individual descriptions of these.

There will, more than likely, be a hiatus over the holiday period... but such is the nature of things ^^

About the Guild Bank: I transfered all of our Gnomish banker's pack and bank contents into the Guild Bank. The "open" tab mostly contains crafting materials, some leveling gear, books with priest / druid spells and various odds and ends.

I moved some of the slightly more "wanted" things into the Officer's tab, so poke one of those if you are interested in what's in there (there are also more crafting matererials in there, as I was running out of space).
