Midwinter Solstice

The longest night of the year.

All Kaldorei are invited to join this celebration, to mark the turning of time, of the wheel of the year. This is the moment to celebrate the longest night, and the return of light to the world, though Elune will be with us on this night as she is on most any other.

This event will be held on Friday 21 Norothil (21 December)

All Kaldorei are invited to join in this.
Non-Kaldorei are also welcome, as long as they come in the spirit of the festival.

Timeframe

NOTE: Will probably be adjusted still, as we want to combine this with a guildmeeting.

19.00 - 20.00 - Gather in Auberdine and prepare for a night around the campfire
20.00 - 21.30 - Walk / fly to a suitable place (to be decided, somewhere in Winterspring?), tell stories, sing songs
21.30 - 23.00 - Time to chat quietly, wander off, sit around the campfire

Food: Fruit, bread and cookies
Drink: Mulled wine, warm drinks, perhaps some ale for those that like it

Activities:

Bring wood for campfires to gather around. And wear something warm and festive, as the nights can be cold this time of year.
