The orcs main suply base to the warsong gultch is located at the splintertree post. If we strike at them, it will bring a hard blow to the orc forces and show them we will fight for our wood.

The green crosses are our forces. The camp is surounded by hills, a perfect location for our rangers to strike them from above. I marked a few spots from where the rangers could fire uppon the orcs.

The green arrow is for the sentinels who will strike as soon as the archers have fired. During that chaos we the sentinels will have to strike swiftly to have advantage.

We shall not stay longer than needed, a fast clean assault. They have a flightpoint from who reinforcements could come in. So if we strike quickly we can be out of there before the orcs can react on the attack.

The red crosses are stationed guards as far as i could see them. Keep in mind there could be more.

Report: Assault on Splintertree

With a small war party we moved to attack the Splintertree post to give a signal to the horde we no longer tolorate their presence in our woods. Before the assault Kinly and i moved ahead to recount the guards and see if anything had changed since the last scouting.

The attack went well, there wasn't much resistance, we took them by suprise. We moved our way fast to the cave to explore it. Nothing was to be found in the cave. Since we exspected reïnforcements to arive soon we headed out again to clear the other building. We found a nasty suprise when we killed two orcs who turned out to be humans in discuise. What they done there we don't know, but some kind of magic had them turned into orcs. Perhaps the humans had spys ammong them? We have to check this i suppose.

On our way out a Tauran Druid had come to the aid of the post. We didn't strike him at first, thinking if he would leave us allone we would leave him allone. To bad for him that he made a agresive move, he was sliced down fast.

We headed back to Astranaar, ready for a horde counter attack. The horde did attack but only with a few. We defended the village of Astranaar till the last horde was defeated. Unfortunatly the keeper got hit, she had to be send back to a saver location. The rest of stayd behind to make sure no horde would assault Astranaar. It kept to the small attack from before.

In my oppinion the assault succeeded. We gave signal to the horde that we will fight for our woods and their camp is broken for a period of time.
