Not exactly an IC introduction, but an introduction to Lekilor's background nonetheless. Took me some time to write it all down.

Name: Lekilor Riversong
Age: 343
Affiliation: Cenarion Circle

Background:

Lekilor was born in southern Ashenvale, not far away from the Barrens border. With the coming of the Horde during the Third War Lekilor's family had to move north and were given a new home in Nighthaven. His family never had any connection to the Cenarion Circle, however, soon after the battle at Mount Hyjal, Lekilor was visited by Keeper Remulos himself and introduced to the ways of druidism. Since his training has barely begun, he still has much to learn, but even over this short time he has developed a strong faith in nature. By his own words, "there is no greater power in the world than having forces of nature, the very forces that gave you birth, as your allies. Willing allies, not slaves".

Part of his training took place on newly grown Teldrassil. At first Lekilor was impressed by the beauty of the great tree, but when he learned the story behind its creation, and saw the corruption growing in it with his own eyes, he was disgusted. In his eyes, Fandral Staghelm and his followers betrayed everything the druids stood for - by using the powers they were given for their own selfish needs that brought no good to the nature. Returning to Moonglade shortly after that, Lekilor has found that his feelings for Staghelm and the druids of Darnassus were shared by druids based there and the Keeper himself. But still that was the matter Lekilor had no role to play in yet.

Soon the young druid was sent on several missions to deal with diseases growing in Darkshore. During that time he met a few groups that were interested in his aid. The most important one to mention was the second one he joined, called the Moonglade Rangers. Led by the druid Lithaeron Maethor, commonly referred to as simply "Lith", they were working under the banner of the Cenarion Circle and carried out several missions in Kalimdor. Besides sharing his beliefs, the Rangers were a community Lekilor really felt himself part of. He also met Darinea Tel'Talah there, who remains his friend to this time. However, because of internal conflicts he doesn't deem worth mentioning, the Rangers fell apart and Lith was murdered by two assassins claiming allegiance to Staghelm.

After that Lekilor followed Darinea into two other communities, but they eventually fell apart as well. However, during that time he made friends with Kaldorath Wiseleaf, an old druid who has only recently awakened from the Emerald Dream, and watched the relationship growing between him and Darinea.

The Circle of the Silvereye, the community Darinea and Kaldorath joined recently, show much promise to Lekilor. He recently took part in aiding one of Silvereye's druids trapped in the Nightmare, and hopes to join the Silvereye as well. One thing troubles him though. He heard rumors of Silvereye raiding the Horde lands, and even though he doesn't know if they are true, or any details or reasons behind them, he doesn't want to be part of them.

The dark times will pass. We will persevere. Remember the Keeper.

A nice insight into your character, Lekilor! We plan to run the next part of that storyline you experienced this thursday at 1900 in Ashenvale.

When a woman says she will obey you, of her own will, it is time to sleep lightly and watch your back.
