Most of this is pure speculation, and is not confirmed by any official sources. There are also some mistakes here, such as:
QUOTE |
Shan N. Son of the totem, Druid • Shan'do N. 1. Arch-Druid 2. Teacher, mentor, or wise one • Thero Totem of the bear E.G "Thero-Shan (Druid of the Claw)"
|
As is written in the "War of the Ancients" book, "shan'do" means "honored teacher", and "thero'shan" means "honored student". Here are the two quotes from War of the Ancients Book One: Well of Eternity:
QUOTE |
Malfurion went down on one knee, his gaze to the earth. “My shan’do,” he began, calling Cenarius by the title that meant in the old tongue “honored teacher.” “Forgive me for asking—”
|
QUOTE |
“And I go now to see to that!” He stepped from the others, but gave Malfurion one last smile. “You’ve made me proud, my thero’shan …my honored student.”
|
The other words then...
QUOTE |
Alo'dora Word of acknowledgement |
The spelling was obviously not got correctly (I personally keep hearing something more like "anu'dora"), and the meaning is unknown, though it was indeed a word of acknowledgement.
QUOTE |
Andu-Falah-Dor Warcry against demons E.G "Die hell spawns" |
Speculation, while it was indeed a warcry, we don't know its meaning. The warcry was also actually directed at demon-tainted furbolgs.
QUOTE |
Andu-Dath-Belore Question. "Who's there?" |
In game it appeared as "Fandu-dath belore". Though the meaning is unknown, the speculation is a good one. I wouldn't vouch for it though.
QUOTE |
• Ana 1.N. Nature 2.The start of “Ana'dona” which means "Indeed" • Ana'Dona N. Word of agreement. Indeed E.G "Ana'dona fo'raere', iszera done bungells (Indeed sisters, [the] greenskins are primitive)"
|
Pure speculation, not confirmed by anything. The spelling seems to be got very wrong as well.
QUOTE |
• Ana'doreini Tala Druid's warcry with the word Ana (nature) E.G "For Nature's Survival" • Ana'tole na Dure Druid's pledge of agreement E.G "I'll do it for nature" • Ashta'rodne Adj. Ugly • Asur'thoraman Question. "What?" • Bungells Adj. Primitives Done Am, Is and Are in the same word. • Dorani'ka Word of agreement • Endu'di Rifak Sentinel warcry E.G "Kill the defilers" • Eno Therador Mali Word of disagreement maybe even a sort of insult E.G "I disagree with you, child!"
|
Speculation, speculation, speculation... Or at least not anything confirmed by my sources...
QUOTE |
• Elune-Adore Greeting (which also have the name of the goddess Elune in it) E.G "May Elune shine over you"
|
This one seems to be right.
QUOTE |
• Fanass Adj N. Excessively |
Not anything officially confirmed.
QUOTE |
• Ishnu-Alah Greeting • Ishnu-del-Dieb Reply to "Elune-Adore" and "Ishnu-Alah" which is a word of greeting with much more awe. IE: "Peace be with you," "And also with you."
|
This one is correct, except that it's "Ishnu-dal-dieb". The exact meaning is also still unknown, or I didn't find it yet.
QUOTE |
Iszera N. Orcs, Greenskins |
Pure speculation.
QUOTE |
• Kaldorei N. Night-Elves, Children of the stars • Kalimdor N. land beneath the stars
|
This one is right. Kalimdor, however, means "land of eternal starlight", according to the WC3 manual.
QUOTE |
• Nordrassil N. World Tree, Crown of the Heavens • Quel'dorei N. High-Borne, (High-Elves)
|
These ones are right.
QUOTE |
• Tor Folon Norderan Druid's warcry against satyrs E.G "Die traitors of the land!"
|
Speculation. The spelling also doesn't seem correct.
The dark times will pass. We will persevere. Remember the Keeper.
