Born into peace
Born in a time when Kalimdor knew peace, she grew up amongst the trees in Ashenvale. Being gifted in understanding animals and having a keen interest in life in general, Darineas grandfather contacted the Cenarion Circle, in hope that they would accept the girl and teach her how to use these talents.
The Call of the Dream
The time came when the Dream called her name and she heeded the call. Bidding her loved ones a farewell and a promise of a swift return, she left the Waking World. The sound of a horn awoken Darinea,as many other that were hibernating, she was met with the message that Nordrassil was under attack. But she never got to the World Tree before it was too late. Upset, Darinea decided to see her familiy back in Ashenvale. She was met by her parents and they invited her to stay for a long as she liked. Ashenvale seemed to have a healing effect on the druidess and she recovered slightly from the shock night by night. She met old friends and visited places she had not been since she was a child.
Records tell of an incident concerning the TelTalah family and some housing of Fel-mages, but details are not known. All that is known that the family got banned from the Night Elven lands and that Darinea was stripped of all her rights within the Cenarion Circle. It was also at this time she slipped into some sort of madness or depression. Some letters speaks of a deal made between Darineas parents and the Cenarion Circle and after a time, she was returned and nursed back to health, while her parents were to serve the Cenarion Circle.
Return to the Cenarion
Regaining her strenght and learning the fate of her parents, Darinea set out again to rebuild her reputation and to prove she was loyal to the Cenarion Circle. She met a group dedicated to protect Moonglade and decided that this was her path in life. She learned a great deal from her new-found friends and she learned to master her talents by a druid she would hold close to her heart. Soon, she was respected for her wisdom and enjoyed serving Moonglade and the Circle. After a time, the small group of rangers decided to disband and the one Darinea loved, decided to ask Ysera to fight by her side. He gave up on the Waking World and on the relationship he had with the druidess. Again, Darinea was left with nothing, but a few trusted friends and her memories.
Bitterness
Left bitter and alone, Darinea became bitter at Elune and cursed everything the Goddess stood for. Blaming Her for all her troubles, the druidess left everything behind and started to search for the true meaning of life. She sought out her closest friends and they met in Nighthaven to discuss what to do next. Ideas were many and the future would send them in different directions. Though Darinea bumped into a newly awoken druid who listened in shock while the trio told him about what had happened while he had been sleeping. The name of this druid was Shan Kaldorath Wiseleaf.
This druid would later be the one to bring her the word that she was to return to the Dream. She returned to the Waking World after a while, only to bear severe scars and refusing to be adressed by her birthname, but as "Mistrunner".
The Future
Darinea has started to believe that Elune indeed has a plan for everyone. Future would bind Darinea and this druid together in more ways she would ever imagine..
Joining the Silvereye gave Shan Mistrunner a beacon in the mist and know she can tell which way she is going, and she has now reclaimed her birthname.
