As a Druid The figure before you stands at an impressive 7'7", a lithe and muscled build. Her eyes glow a deep, dark amber colour, and her skin a deep purple, offsetting her midnight blue hair, which hangs loosely down to her waist. As she opens her mouth to speak, you might notice the sharp fangs glistening behind her lips, but only for a second. Her voice is calm in tone, and quiet, slow, as if she has nothing to hurry about.
As a Warrior (current) Aerandul seems incredibly frail, walking slowly and slightly droopy. Her torso seems littered with fresh cuts, and her left arm is pinned up in a sling. Her hair flowls loosely and roughly, as if it hasn't been cared for in some time. Branded onto her left arm are the letters "Exp: Air"
The Beginning
Aerandul is a very old Kaldorei, dating back millenia before the Sundering, yet she always seems energetic and full of life. Originally a city guard for Suramar, her world was literally torn apart following the events in the War of the Ancients. Following the destruction of Kalimdor, she took up the relatively new path of Druidism, vowing to heal the land of corruption and protect it in it's dark times.
The Hunt
Following the completion of her training, Aerandul spent her time between the physical plane and that of the Emerald Dream, becoming quite adept at moving between the realms. Whilst in the "real world", she tutored new kaldorei in Druidism, maintaing the records of her people, reading through and carefully archiving each and every ancient tome, and exploring the world beyond the magical fog that she and her brethren had cast over the lands, to hide them from the world. On her travels, she came across many of the Burning Legion's remnants. Corrupted creatures and demons stalking the land, sowing chaos and destruction. Not forgetting the events centuries previous, she hunted as many as she could, choosing to learn as much as possible about them, from the way they looked to the things they said. After many years of various methods, she beacme fluent in the demons' native language of Eredun, though it was said the language *wished* to be learned. She does not pass on this fact to many people, for fear of persecution. To this day, she carries her ancient and powerful stave, Legionfoe, to fight back the new wave of evil spreading through the lands.
The Hunted
Over a year ago, Aerandul wrote and published a book entitled "My Life's Work". A compendium of information about demonkind, hoping that people wishing to take on the Legion would benefit from her years of experience. The book itself was simply enchanted so that those who would use the book for evil purposes would be unable to read the strange symbols. Though a success, Aerandul was put on a wanted list by a mysterious enemy, and was forced into hiding until it was all clear.
A Cold Realisation
More recently, Aerandul went on a journey of self-discovery to the frozen continent of Northrend, where she almost lost her life in a one-way battle with a Frost Wyrm. Her rescue came in the form of a group of Dwarven Dragonhunters, who took her to the nearby Icemist Village, and an old ally Haaru Raintalker nursed her back to health. She stayed for a few days withing the village, catching up, when one day she saw a fleet of Scourge Necropolis' heading southwards. Fearing for her friends, she went back to port and caught the first ship southwards, eventually running arground north of Tirisfal, where she washed up on the shore some hours later. By the time she reached civilisation, the scourge had been defeated.
Until Recently
Aerandul now wanders the world seeking and stamping out corruption and those who would defile nature. She regards every life as a unique and special one, and will never lower herself to kill without good reason behind it, and has taken up the tough path of becoming the embodiment of Wilderness itself, wild yet pure. She remains an exile from the Silvereye Circle after an event before she left to Northrend left her doubting certain factors in the way things happened, and uses the now free time to hunt cults in the city of Stormwind, among other things, and serves as one of the now secretive Druids of the Talon, information gatheres and message carriers of the wild. A recent development has lead her to become a mentor in the Tae'gel'kir Academy, hoping to pass down her knowledge so that others can benefit from the wisdome of ages.
The present
Aerandul is a Lieutenant in the Expendables Penal Regiment. Having lost her faith in the land when two battallions of men under her command were almost wiped out in Alterac Valley, she fell into a decline, herself quoting that "I have stared madness in the face, and it ran away scared". She has been forced to revert to old methods, taking up her abilities as a guard. The true reason behind the incident in the Valley, a group of jealous peers, suggested that for a punishment (given it would be unreasonable to simply execute her, where would be the fun?), she should be placed as the Alliance Officer within the Expendables Penal Regiment, captained by Shifte. Originally, she was to keep a close eye on the group and assure they followed Alliance Doctrine, but she is more often found drinking heavily with them, or following up leads on cases that threaten the security of the Alliance.
