The Beginning The Egg of the Phoenix Aldaron was born in the dawn of the ancient Kaldorei empire from a noble Highborne mage and a Kaldorei Druidess. He spent the first centuries of his life as a scholar in the halls of Zin-Azshari, learning from the bright knowledge of the golden age of the elves. His mentor Nasias Breezeshaper, high Priest of Elune, saw something in Aldaron blood and shared with him a secret. Nasias was the second of a descent of chosen of Elune called the White Phoenix, from the name of the mythical bird born from the tears of Elune fallen from the sky, whose feathers are always burning of pure white moonlight.
The purpose of the Phoenix is the protection of the creation of Elune
An everlasting defense against anything, from the outside or the inside, that could threaten Her Vision and Her sons.
The Phoenix can give great powers, but only if they are used to protect Her will.
There can only be one single Phoenix in a given time.
To a Phoenix is granted protection from the things of the dark and from mundane death.
But when a Phoenix feels the time for the final rest coming close can choose an Apprentice to secure the lasting of the descent.
Being the only of his kind a Phoenix is a loner by nature.
Being the only of its kind, the Phoenix will renounce to the possibility to love, being unable to find a partner.
The purpose of the Phoenix is the protection of the creation of Elune.
The War of the Ancients The First Death As the War of the Ancient was reaching its climax, Nasias ordered Aldaron to flee from Zin-Azshari and to find a refuge from the upcoming destruction. Nasias remained with the Kaldorei forces to fight near the Well of Eternity, but the final collapse of the Well and the huge energies that erupted killed him and prevented the powers of the Phoenix to rise him again. Aldaron felt the demise of his Master moments before drowning in the flood that followed the collapse of the Well. But the force of the Phoenix was now pulsing in him and life returned into his body. The Phoenix was dead and a new one was born.
Nordrassil The Fall of the Phoenix Half of Aldarons family was lost during the War of the Ancients, his father and his brother never returned from the battle, and a deep curse was cast over Aldaron by the desire of power of his father. The loss of his Mentor and of his closest brother were a deep blow that Aldaron didnt manage to sustain. His trust in Elune was fading and he let himself sinking in the depths of sorrow and regret. This weakened the powers of the Phoenix and let the curse to have a stronger grip on him. The lowest act of this fall brought to a tragedy Aldaron will never forgive to himself.
Azeroth The Fire of the Phoenix After his recovery Aldaron dedicated himself to the highest purpose of the Phoenix, traveling on Kalimdor and on the Eastern Kingdoms, among humans and trolls, stalking any possible threat that could menace the Kaldorei. Soaring high and lone as his role demanded. Dieing countless times and killing countless foes. To keep his duty, to pay for his guilt. With the battle at Mount Hyjal the curse emerged again, but as long his will is strong and his resolve focused the Phoenix will keep it under control.
The Silvereye The landing of the Phoenix Even if the Phoenix is a loner it needs to land from time to time. Recently Aldaron joined the Circle of the Silvereye which shares many of his goals. Maybe not forever, but as long as his lonely nature will permit it the Phoenix will burn and fight with glowing silver eyes. And, maybe, the time for the rest for the third Phoenix is close and a new Phoenix must be chosen.
